Cosmic Duck Tape

"Due to the recent freak storms appearing all over the globe, many of high-risk areas have been evacuated to remove the threat of greater damage." The newscaster relays this information while pictures of floods and hurricanes flash on-screen. Swiftwind turns to Thor behind her.
"It wasn't my doing!" he defends. Swiftwind sighs and watches the gray clouds out the window. Rogers holds her around the waist.
"What are you thinking?" he asks. She leans into him.
"I'm thinking more is going on here than a few storms. My element is the wind and sky, and I'm a cat. My abilities and my sixth sense both agree that something is seriously wrong here." She slides out of his grasp and opens the window. A slight breeze flows into the room. Only Swiftwind seems alarmed.
"What's wrong?" Rogers asks her. She says nothing while climbing out of the window. As her feet hit the ground, she looks up at the sky. The clouds swirl and twist angrily overhead.
"Bad." she whispers. She transforms into a cat and tastes the air, just to be sure of her suspicions. Now satisfied with her results, she morphs back into a human. "Can't you sense it?" she calls to the others. Rogers shakes his head. "This storm is not of this world. It isn't from anything I've ever encountered." She leaps back through the window where Captain America is waiting for her. "It's, ugh, I don't know. Magical, somehow." Rogers tries to comprehend.
"Good magic, or bad magic?" he asks. She holds her head in her hands.
"I don't know. Neither. It radiates power. It's like it's alive, yet it gives off an aura of death." The other Avengers become tense.
"Is it dangerous?" Romanoff  asks. Swiftwind shrugs.
"It appears to only be causing severe weather, so not too bad, yet." Stark jumps to his feet.
"Wait, people are being evacuated, homes are being torn apart, entire cities are being beaten away, and you call that 'not too bad'?" he balks. Swiftwind walks over toward Thor.
"What happens if your portal thing is open too long on any one location?" she asks him.
"The world is ripped apart." he states. Swiftwind nods and paces, trying to think of how best to explain.
"Okay, potentially, a large realm disruption could cause many things to happen, but they all have the same end result if the problem isn't solved. One: realms could merge, resulting in the displacement of energy and objects. Two: cracks in the realm could form, causing rather large black-holes to destroy everything. Three: the biosphere of a realm could try to compensate for the disruption, thereby shifting to make room for the onslaught of energy. However, all these options end in the total destruction of all realms." Everyone stares at her blankly.
"So," Hawkeye begins, "what can we do?" Swiftwind thinks for a moment.
"Well, we'd need to contact the master deity of this realm. However, considering this realm is almost identical to the Alpha Realm, we'd need to contact the overseer of all realms directly: Aslan. Because he knows how each realm functions, he'd fix it, somehow." she explains. Stark laughs humorlessly.
"With what, cosmic duck tape?" he jokes.
"If only there was such a thing." she sighs.
