Orb of Flare

I know you were expecting another post, sorry, I've been busy on my other projects so instead, I bring you the REAL LIFE Orb of Flare! According to Agent TrailBlaiser, this holds her powers of fire and was forged in the fire's of every species of dragon in existence. It is the embodiment of the spirit and fury of a dragon. So basically, concentrated epicness in a small container. I know your jealous. :)

Kitty Can't Swim

Rogers watches as Swiftwind displays her powers to the other Avengers. "Incredible." Thor exclaims as she twists the water about.
"You mean no one in Asgard can do this?" she asks. Thor shakes his head. "Speaking of which." She lets the water fall into the Olympic-sized pool. "Your theory on realms. How there are nine of them and what-not? You weren't wrong. Completely." Everyone stares at her in puzzlement. "What you call realms, we call sub-realms. While we're impressed that your people posses the ability to travel through these with ease, it's rather primitive when compared to the power I wield. For instance, you need a gate-keeper to travel, and can only travel at certain points where the magical bond is strongest. Whereas we can open a portal anywhere and anyone can learn to do it."  She back-handsprings over to him and flutters her eyelashes. Hawkeye sneaks up behind her and pushes her into the pool. She cries out in terror as she plunges headfirst into the water. She flails about wildly while everyone laughs. Rogers, however, notices that she isn't just being dramatic and dives in after her. He takes hold of her from the waist and pulls her back up as she gasps for air. Black Widow hands her a towel, which she wraps around herself. "Not funny!" Stark gives her an odd look.
"You're powers are water based, but you can't swim?" he asks. Swiftwind glares at him.
She hisses loudly at him. Stark shrinks back a little.
"Aren't you from, what was it, Riverclan? Don't you swim there?" Rogers asks.
"Yeah. I can swim as a cat, not as a human. Ironic, isn't it?"
"A little, but I was frozen in ice for a few decades. Who am I to judge?" he replies.

Sorry this post is so short. I've been really busy working on my other story on Figment. I really hope you can check it out! Here's the link: http://figment.com/books/392782-Prayer-Phone

Sapphire Hack

Heya, what's up people? This is A-I-T Sapphire! Yeah, I know, you were probably expecting another piece of the story. Perhaps hoping to see how Swiftwind and Captain America fall for each other, right? Too bad, I stole the laptop and I'm making the story today! TrailBlaiser told me to set up the post for today, so I am. She meant for me to just cut a piece of the story and post that, but I didn't feel like it. The only reason she isn't doing this herself is because RiverFlyte took her out on a date. Cute, right?! I'm gonna ask her later if he's a good kisser... Ahem, back to the matter at hand, I'm in control, therefore, I get to post about whatever the heck I want! So, gossip it is! You remember Sugar's secret admirer? You haven't heard about him since Christmas. Okay, his name is Kopa. DragonFyre wrote him into existence, like she did for Swiftwind, Rabbitleap and TrailBlaiser. Why she did this, I'll never know. But him and Sugar are such a cute couple! Also, Wes got promoted to full agent. I've been in training longer than him, and I'm still in training! Not fair. Terrance, the Aphrodite boy, has finally noticed my unbelievable attractiveness and declared me his girlfriend! Okay, you know how I was complaining about how everyone had a guy last year? Well, I used Swiftwind as an example. But get this, she and Troutwhisker broke up. Like, three months ago. That's why TrailBlaiser sent her on this mission. I've also noticed that most of TrailBlaiser's mission ideas don't even involve Realm Travelers anymore! Like, she has ideas to just "observe" a realm, instead of interacting. What up with that?! At this rate, by the time I'm a full agent, I won't have any missions to do! Seriously, if you have any mission ideas, please tell me so I can pass it on to her! Oh, and you know how Swiftwind said that no one knows who wrote me? To be perfectly honest, even I don't know that! And I'm me! I guess I've just, always been a Realm Traveler. As far back as I can remember, TrailBlaiser's always been there, telling me stories of her adventures. She was training me even before I was accepted into RTHQ. I don't know  my parents, even though every other Realm Traveler has a background. Though I never considered myself an orphan, because TrailBlaiser has been my mother, my big sister, my best friend... I don't know, maybe this is just me rambling on here.

H2O

Rogers walks with Swiftwind down a corridor to the infirmary. "How old are you?" he asks. Swiftwind shrugs.
"I don't know. I'm a young warrior, but not quite young enough to be mistaken for an apprentice. Let me think. My naming ceremony was held shortly after I led my fellow apprentice's to victory in a battle against WindClan. So, that was last leaf-bare, sorry, winter, and I became an apprentice at the beginning of leaf-fall. About twenty-one in human years, why?" Rogers blushes.
"Uh, no reason." he stutters. Swiftwind disregards him. She opens the doors to the infirmary. "Show me what you can do." Swiftwind stands over a severely wounded soldier. She puts her hand over the large gash in his leg. A bright flash of white light bursts for a moment, leaving the soldier completely healed. All the doctors stare in awe at her, while she stares in puzzlement at the soldier. Rogers notices her expression. "What's wrong? That was incredible!" She shakes her head.
"That's just it, it wasn't incredible. Not to me. All the Realm Travelers can do that. My power was supposed to be more than that." She takes a sparkly communicator out of her pocket. "This is Swiftwind, calling RTHQ. Come in RTHQ. Over." A bit of static crackles on the other end.
"You've got Sugar Plum, what up girl?" Swiftwind smiles apologetically at Rogers.
"Sugar, who put you in charge, ugh, never mind, may i speak with TrailBlaiser?" More static.
"This is TrailBlaiser." comes the reply.
"You assigned me powers of healing. How do I activate them in this realm?" Swiftwind asks.
"Katara style. TrailBlaiser out!" Swiftwind places the communicator away. Rogers watches her in silence.
"What does 'Katara style' mean?" he asks. She finds a glass of water and dips her hand in.
"Well it's supposed to be..." she trails off and moves her hands different ways. Her eyes widen as the water stirs while her hand is out of the glass. She moves her hand up, and the water forms a ball and sdoes the same. "Please, 'Katara style'? This is H2O mermaid style!" She plays with the water, shaping her hands different ways to change the state the water is in. "I wonder.." She places her hand back into the glass, with the water now returned to it. This time, she folds her ring finger and pinky halfway. The water glows silver. "Oh yeah. Now we're talking."

The Seventh Avenger

*I'm using both the super hero names and secret identity names in this post
Captain America bursts into the Director's room. "Sir, you should see this." He holds up Swiftwind, now back in cat form. Nick Fury just stares at him.
"Rogers, is this some kind of joke?" he asks. Rogers shakes his head.
"No, sir. Watch." He gently tosses Swiftwind and she morphs into a human. Nick Fury jumps back in shock as Swiftwind smiles warmly at him.
"Hiya!" she exclaims. Nick stares at her for a bit, then relaxes.
"I've seen shape-shifters before. Never into a cat though. Strange." he looks her over. "How do you do that?" he asks.
"Well, I got my powers from Agent TrailBlaiser, and she got hers from Aslan, who wouldn't have given her powers unless Agent DragonFyre thought of it." she explains. Rogers and Fury stare blankly.
"Agent... TrailBlaiser? What agency is she from? Who is she?" Fury asks.
"We're both from Realm Travelers, a secret organization of story-tellers that travel to different realms collecting information and all-around messing up the fabric of time and space. It's kinda fun. She herself is twin sister, or maybe daughter, we can never tell, of Agent DragonFyre, who wrote me, TrailBlaiser, and Agent Rabbitleap, into existance. But not Agent-in-Training Sapphire. No one really knows where she came from." Swiftwind grins broadly.
"Oh, okay, that explains exactly NOTHING!" Fury growls. "I've never even heard of this, Realm Travelers!" Swiftwind narrows her eyes at him.
"Why do you think it's called a 'secret organization'? Not a 'hey, tell the world and give out milkshakes!' organization." Fury gets up in her face.
"Are you sassing me?" he growls.
"That's a definite possibility." she answers. Fury raises his hand to slap her, but Rogers stops him.
"Wait! She might be useful to us. What if she joined our team? She seems harmless, annoying, but harmless. Having a shape-shifter on the team might give us an advantage." he adds. Fury looks from Rogers to Swiftwind.
"Fine. But if she steps out of line again, she's out." He decides. Swiftwind purrs loudly. "Give her Miss Romanoff's quarters." Swiftwind bounces around happily.

"So, what can you do?" Captain America asks the next morning at a training session. "I mean, you must be able to do more than turn into a cat." Swiftwind back-flips over a hurdle.
"Actually, my power is being able to turn into a human. I was born a cat. My parents were a tabby and a solid white. But I know what you mean. I also have cat-like reflexes." She cartwheels, one-handed, past him.
"I can see that. Anything else?" he asks. Swiftwind stops mid-handstand and looks at him.
"Supposedly, healing." She flips back to her feet.
"Healing, how does that work?" Swiftwind shrugs.
"I don't know. I didn't know I had that power beyond a Realm Traveler's basic skills to heal wounds. I guess that makes me, a, what, super nurse?" She runs and jumps onto the building and climbs higher onto the roof, then leaps off. Capatain America stands in awe as she lands gracefully. "A cat always lands on her feet."

Hi, I'm Swiftwind

Swiftwind skids to a stop on the other side of the portal. She glances around as the cool of the night surrounds her. She purrs loudly. "Wait," she meows, "I'm still a cat." She tries to morph into a human, but fails. "Mouse-dung!" she hisses. "Now what do I do?" She pads toward a dark, looming building. It isn't marked, but Swiftwind can tell by scent and aura that it's her target. She stalks her way to the edge of the barbed wire fencing. No gate is visible, so she begins digging. "This would be so much easier for Rabbitleap." she growls. Finally, she manages to dig a hole deep enough to squeeze herself through. Almost immediatly, an alarm goes off. "Oh fox-dung!" A bright light flashes onto her from a guard tower as she sprints to the large double doors of the building. A dozen guards rush out, looking around wildly for the intruder. They relax and put down their weapons. One pulls out a cell phone.
"False alarm. It's just a cat." he relays.
"Oh dear, um, when in doubt, act adorable." she whispers to herself. She drops her ears and widened her eyes, giving the sweetest face she can. A tall, muscular young man breaks through the crowd of guards and examines Swiftwind.
"Aren't you cute?" he observes. He checks Swiftwind over. "And you don't have a collar either." He turns to a man in a black suit. "I think it's a stray, can I keep it?" The man just looks at him.
"Are you serious?" he asks. "You're a grown man, and you want a little pussy cat to hang around with?" The two men look each other in the eye for a few moments.
"Yes." states the young man. The other guy surrendurs.
"Alright. As long as it doesn't have rabies." The man walks away with the guards, leaving Swiftwind and the man who she thinks is Captain America alone in the courtyard. He picks her up and holds her for a bit.
"I'm gonna call you... Ranger." he decides.
"I'm a girl! My name is Swiftwind!" she yells, but to him it just sounds like a mew. He brings her inside the building. She glances at the digital clocks on the wall. "Wow. It's like, nearly midnight. At least I found you Captain. First part of my mission, completed successfully." The Captain looks at her.
"You're a talkative one, aren't you, Ranger?" he asks. He takes her down several hallways to a door marked INFIRMARY. She sees needles and leaps out of his arms, running the other way.
"Vet! Oh no, you are not taking me to the vet! I have rights as a human being! Even though I might not be one at this very moment. You are not fixing me!" she hisses. He just stares at her in shock.
"Wow. You really don't want to go in there. Fine." he sighs, "I'll take you in the morning." He picks her up again, this time taking her to his quarters. He tosses a spare blanket onto the floor in a corner of his room. Swiftwind paws at it and circles a few times before lying down and watching Captain America intently. She silently waits as he goes to bed and falls asleep. She gets back up.
"Okay, now I can morph." She throws her head back and stands up on two legs. She examines herself, realizing she's human once more. "Cool. That would have been so much more helpful earlier." She touches the rolled up jeans and tank top that she wore when she morphed into a cat. "At least I have clothes this time. So glad TrailBlaiser worked out that bug with my powers a while back or this would have been awkward." she whispers. She looks over at him, sleeping soundly. Now what?, she thinks. An idea strikes her. She morphs back into a cat and jumps on his stomach, startling him. She jumps back onto the floor as he stares at her in disbelief.
"What?!" he growls. She morphs into a human.
"Hi, I'm Swiftwind."

Swiftwind's Dream

Swiftwind smiles at the love of her life. She runs up and jumps into his arms. "Oh my love, you are my whole world!" she sighs. He kisses her softly.
"And you are mine, my love." he whispers. She runs her fingers through his hair, safe in his arms. Suddenly, the sky changes. What was once blue is now black and rumbling with the sound of a thousand thunder rolls. Swiftwind looks into her lovers eyes, only to see him no longer there.
"My love! My love! Where are you?!" she cries. She rushes around madly, desperately searching for the one she knows isn't there anymore. At last, she sees him, his hand over the shoulder of a weeping comrade. She runs to where he is and calls out to him. He looks at her with sad eyes. "My love, what has happened?" He holds her closely.
"Not everyone can be as lucky as I." he replies. She glances down at a figure upon the grass. A warrior weeps over the body of a lovely young woman. Though she has never seen the warrior, she knows in her heart that he is her friend, and the woman was his love. She breaks away from her lover's arms and kneels before the woman also.
"I would give everything I have to bring her back." she whispers to the warrior. A bright flash envelopes her, blinding everyone around.

Swiftwind wakes up, screaming. She catches her breath, slowly trying to make sense of what just happened. The familiar scents of the RiverClan camp calm her. She glances down at her paws, silver and furry, as she sheathes and unsheathes her claws. "It was only a dream." she tells herself. "You aren't even at RTHQ, your dreams are from StarClan when you are in your home realm. Why are you dreaming as a two-leg? A human? You are a RiverClan cat. A cat." She shakes the dream out of her head and laps water at a small puddle beside her. "Perhaps some hunting will do you good." She pads silently to the riverbank, where she waits and stares at the dark water. A silver streak flashes through the water, but not quite quick enough to avoid her waiting claws. She quietly thanks StarClan for her kill. An odd scent washes over her. A strange cat wanders over to her, with a pelt of orange and brown. Swiftwind tilts her head at the intruder. "If I didn't know any better," she ponders, "I'd say you were a pure-bred Abyssinian." The intruder nods.
"Very good, Agent Swiftwind. So you didn't space out when we watch Animal Planet." she intruder meows. Swiftwind sighs.
"I should have known it was you. Your scent is so obvious. What do you want, Rabbitleap?" she sighs. Rabbitleap purrs.
"Well, first, I find it quite odd being on the other end of the domestic spectrum. Much different from being a canine. Second, I bring a message from TrailBlaiser." Swiftwind's ears perk up. "A mission. To the Avengers realm. With the special orders of getting close to Captain America." Swiftwind purrs loudly. "And you get a special power, too: healing."
"Sweet!" Swiftwind mews. "When do I start?" A shimmering portal opens beside them.
"Now." Tingling with anticipation and excitement, Swiftwind leaps through.

TrollBlaiser

Sapphire comes rushing into TrailBlaiser's room, banging the door against the wall, harsh light shining in her dark room. "Arp!" TrailBlaiser shrieks in surprise as she sits bolt upright. She stares at Sapphire for a moment, unrecognized. "Who- who is that?" she asks timidly. She grabs a pair of rhinestone glasses from her nightstand. Her vision comes into focus on Sapphire's surprised look.
"You have glasses? No way!" Sapphire exclaims.
"Shut up! No one knows that! Not even Sep!" She growls. Sapphire quickly closes the door and switches on the light. TrailBlaiser hides under the blanket. "Ahh! The light! It burns!" She peeks out at her cell phone, then glares at Sapphire. "And what was so darn important that you needed to wake me at two in the freakin' morning?!" A broad smile appears on Sapphire's face.
"I'll tell you what! A call from CA!" TrailBlaiser's eyes widen.
"Wait, the Captain? What did he want?" Sapphire nods.
"Well, it wasn't exactly him. It was the Director. I kinda faxed him two days ago about an extremely powerful  super girl who wants to join his team." TrailBlaiser  face-plants into her pillow, then gets up and smiles at her.
"So, I'm guessing your plan was to force me into a mission where I have to send you to the Avengers Realm so you could get all cuddly with Captain America, huh?" Sapphire nods and smiles enthusiastically. "Well, you can't! First, you are not a full agent, therefore you can't go on full missions by yourself! Second, he's physically around twenty-two years old! And you're thirteen! That's called 'jail-bait!'" Sapphire's smile fades.  "But! A mission needs to happen! So, I'll be sending... Ooh! How about SwiftWind? I'm sure she and the Captain will get along just fine!" Sapphire stares at her in silence for a long time.
"If I were an animal," Sapphire says finally, "my ears would be drooping." TrailBlaiser smirks.
"I'm not mean, I'm just enforcing my dominion over you." Sapphire opens the door.
"Meanie!" she cries as she sticks her tongue out.
"We'll talk in the morning. Good night!" TrailBlaiser calls. A loud hiss comes from the hallway. "I heard that!" She claps twice and the lights shut off. As she settles back into sleep, she smiles satisfactorily. "You just got trolled..." she whispers.
