The Boat

Sparrow glances about for any sign of Juno. It's almost eight. Where is she? He shakes his head, assuming that she blew him off. As he's rounding the corner, he runs into Juno. She seems flustered. "Sorry!" she stutters. "I can be so clumsy!"
"No, no, it was my fault." he reassures her. "Where have you been, anyway?" Juno blushes.
"Some of the other nurses played a 'hazing' joke on me. They told me we were going to Ma Custurd's for pastries. Next thing I know, I'm locked in a closet, blind-folded and tied up. I showed them though." She pulls out a foot long dagger. "Any smart girl always carries one." She notices the shocked look on Sparrow's face. "Oh, don't worry! I didn't hurt them! Maybe scared them a little, but never hurt them." Sparrow lets out a light chuckle.
"And here I was, thinking you blew me off. And that you were girly." Juno puts her hands on her hips.
"I am girly! I just like to be prepared. Besides," she leans in close to him, "I wouldn't blow you off." Sparrow's face turns bright red.
"Um, uh, er..." he stutters. Juno stifles a laugh.
"You've never talked to a girl before, have you?" she taunts. He gives her an embarresed look. "It's okay. I'll go easy on you." She grabs his hand and they walk down an old trail behind the clinic. "What do you guys do for fun around here?"  Sparrow stops. A smile slowly creeps up on his face.
"I'll show you." He leads her through the forest 'til they reach an old dock. A rickety old boat bobs up and down on the water. A weathered flag whips around in the wind. He gestures for her to get on. She gives him an odd look.
"You want me... to get on... that?" She asks. Sparrow nodds. "And it won't sink?"
"You're not scared, are you?" he taunts. Juno tenativly approaches the vessel. She reaches for the railing. She tries to pull herself up, but gets stuck.
Um, help?" she squeaks. The boat shifts away from the dock, leaving her dangling above the murky Moat water. "Please!" Sparrow pounces onto the boat. Juno feels his strong hands as he grabs her by the waist and lifts her onto the deck. She sneaks a glance over the edge, then immediatly regrets it. "How- how'd you get up here so easily?" He flashes her a crooked smile.
"I've been doing this since I was twelve. I think I've learned a thing or two." Juno tries to stand, but falls. "Guess you don't have your sea legs, then." he jokes. She glares at him.
"What was your first clue?" She slowly stands up, gripping the railing for support. "Well, it's not so hard." Suddenly, the railing snaps and she falls into the Moat. Sparrow looks around frantically.
"Juno! Juno where are you?!" He sees the surface of the water bubble up, but nothing emerges. He takes off his shirt and jumps in. He opens his eyes underwater and spots Juno, quietly sinking to the water's floor. He grabs her and furiously swims to the top. He gasps for air as he drags both of them onto th boat. He lays her down on the deck and checks for a heartbeat. "Oh-no. Um, okay she's not breathing." he thinks aloud. He breathes for her. After a few moments, her eyes fluttuer open and she gasps like a hooked fish. When she comes to fully, she looks at Sparrow.
"Am I crazy, or did you just kiss me?"

Sparrow

It's a routine medical examination, I keep telling myself. Besides, I have to remain strong. The boys can pick up on fear. A nurse walks by carrying a tray of syringes. I'm going to be sick. "Sparrow, calm down." comes a voice from behind me. I turn around to see Cadet Officer 9.
"How can I, Falcon? This place reeks of sickness and death."
"Oh, not all of it. Have you seen the new nurse?" I shake my head. "She's a doll. Just gorgeous." Another nurse winks at him. "Of course, none can compare with Victoria." He walks over and kisses her. Must he really do that now?
"Cadet Officer 7?" calls a young woman at the back of the room. I make my way over to her.
"I go by Sparrow." I correct. She blushes.
"Oh, excuse me. I'm new here." So this is the new girl? Falcon wasn't lying. Shes the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I wonder what her name is...  She leads me into one of the examination rooms. "So, how many boys are under your control here?" I shrug.
"Changes everyday. Sometimes ten, sometimes thirty. Today I've got fifteen." She scribbles something on her list.
"Any recent injuries?"
"None as far as I know. You girls made sure of that last time I came here. You also made sure that I got at least five vaccines in the arm." I grumble. She hides a smile behind her papers.
"Sorry, but would you prefer to die of smallpox?" she jokes. I step closer to her.
"I'm considering it." I jest. She bats her eyes at me. "What's your name?"
"Juno. And could you please stop distracting me and let me do my job?" I give up and let her finish the exam. She reaches for the door handle, but stops, resting her hand lightly on it. "You can, however, distract me all you like this evening, if you have the time. I'm off work starting at 5:00."
"I'll take you up on that offer. I have free time later as well. I'll see you behind the clinic." She opens the door and I walk out. Falcon comes up to me.
"So, what happened in there?" he asks. I can't help but smile.
"I think I've got a date tonight."

YA Nurses

Juno sits on a bench just outside the Wizard Tower, her bags at her side. She looks around in the early morning haze for any sign of life. A young woman dressed in a scribe's cloak sits down next to her and begins looking over her calculations. "Nice weather, isn't it?" the young woman comments. Juno checks her nails for any flaws in the polish.
"Yes, but I always carry a spare cloak." she replies. The young woman gets up, leaving a small piece of parchment on the bench.
"Nice talking with you. Best of luck in your endeavours." she says, coolly.
"And you, sister." Juno breathes. With a curt nod, the young woman walks off into the mist. Juno takes one last look around. After deciding that no one can see her, she reads the scrawling on the parchment. "Cadet Officer 7. Known to his friends as 'Sparrow.' Light brown hair. Greenish-grey eyes. Roughly nineteen." Juno whispers a Spell, and the parchment quietly catches flame. The ashes float away in the wind. A middle-aged woman approaches her. Juno squints to recognize her through the haze. The woman runs up to hug Juno. "Hello, Aunt Hera." Juno chokes out as she's enveloped in the older woman's crushing embrace.
"Hello, Juno. You ready for your first day of work?" Hera asks. Juno shrugs and picks up her bags.
"As I'll ever be, I suppose. I'm not a particular fan of it, but work is work. Anything to pay off my parent's debt." Hera helps Juno put her bags on a horse and they ride down Wizard Way, past shops and homes and endless alleyways until they finally reach a gate guarded by two men.
"I have clearance. I'm just taking in my niece for her new job as a nurse." Hera chides. The two men uncross their spears and open the gate doors. Juno watches as groups of young boys march past them, sullen looks on their faces. Hera guides the horse into the medical part of the Young Army. Nurses stop in their tracks when they see Juno. None of them say a word as she jumps off the horse and helps her aunt down. One of the youngest nurses gets the bags and brings them into the nurses' living quarters. She places them lightly in a closet. The rest of the nurses file into the small room and stare expectantly at Hera. Hera just smiles and calmly closes the door. When she is sure that no one can hear them, she addresses the women. "Greeting, Sisters. I would like you all to meet possibly the most cunning young woman you girls will ever work with, and, more importantly, my niece." The youngest nurse gives Juno a slight curtsy.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Juno. My name is Hannah. We hear your mission is to go after an entire battalion, is this true?" she whispers. Juno gives her a curt nod. "Well, how can we be of any assistance?" Juno sits on the only bed in the room.
"First, tell me everything you know about my target, Cadet Officer 7. I was given only a name, a number, and identifying characteristics. None of which will be of much use to me once I locate him." Hannah's eyes sparkle as she rolls off information about him.
"He's often seen with Cadet Officers 5 and 9, also known as 'Falcon' and 'Bobcat'. They're usual hangout is Slipway 3, they are found on the water whenever possible. I must warn you though, Cadet Officer 5, Falcon, has been known as, well, a womanizer. I would avoid contact with him when possible. He often flirts with some of the 'non-sisterhood' nurses. I've even heard rumours of him sleeping with a few. If you want info on him, ask Victoria. She's his favourite. Cadet Officer 9, Bobcat, is a die-hard Young Army guy. He believes that everything the YA does is perfectly just. Honestly, I think he has personal relations to the SC, but no leads have yet been proven. If you want to get anywhere with any of them, but especially Sparrow, talk about the boys. If I have the schedule correct, they should be coming by later today for their weekly examinations. You can contact him then. Good luck."  Hannah leads the other nurses out of the room, leaving Juno and Hera alone.
"So," Hera breaks the silence,"you ready for this?" Juno nods.
"Just, one teeny problem, Aunt Hera."
"What's that?" Juno covers her face.
"I don't know anything about being a nurse!"

I just want to say, I'm so sorry for not posting for so long! I wrote this story line a while ago along with the first few installments. Unfortunately, I can't find them. Don't worry, because I'm positive that they will show up right after I finish writing this story. :P So, for the time being, I'm winging it. ;)

Juno

Hey! This is Agent TrailBlaiser! After the mission in the Titan Realm, we are all EXHASTED!!! And I have a black eye and a few bruises that no amount of make-up can ever hope to conceal. So, I won't be going on any missions for a while. Nor will any other Realm Traveler due to the Night Crystals. You see, every hero that was ever created has a weakness. Superman had kryptonite, the Trojans had that horse, Captain America was defeated by a plane and some ice, so we have Night Crystal. DragonFyre and I thought up the Night Crystal because we couldn't have a bunch of people who are nearly indestructable, except by our own magic. How Slade got a hold of it, we'll probably never know. Something else, every hero also has a primary villian. As far as I know, we don't. We have lots of minor villians. From the Joker from Batman, Scar from the Lion King, and the Supreme Custodian from, well, you should know, considering where you saw the link to this site. :P Anyway, it is of the Supreme Custodian that I speak today. You know it is the duty of a Realm Traveler to tell the story not told. Apparently, there was a big story not told, in Sep's Realm! Early in the reign of the Supreme Custodian- wait, I want to do a really cool intoduction. Okay, let me think... ooh! Got it!

Three years after the murders of The Queen and the beloved Alther, the Castle was in shambles. The corrupted Supreme Custodian ruled over the land with terror and evil. Rumours of an army of children sprung up everywhere, but anyone who could say more was taken by the Supreme Custodian's men. Among this chaos and loss, a group of brave young women stood against him. They called themselves, the Defenders. They had each lost a brother, nephew, or son to the Young Army, and swore to get them back. The best of them, was a girl named Juno. She watched as the SC's men grabbed her newborn brother from her arms. Juno's aunt, Hera, was stationed as a nurse in the Young Army. Hera had been sneaking babes out of the nursery for months with no one noticing her. Juno's mission was to go for the real prize, an entire battalion of boys. Hera had noticed one of the Cadet Officers taking pity on the boys he watched. Her mission was to gain his trust, convice him to assist her in getting the boys out, and then bring him in for questioning. Simple enough in Juno's mind. Little did she know, fate had other plans.

Reality

Hey, um, this isn't part of any story. Or have anything really to do with Realm Travelers, hence the "Reality" tittle. My mother's been in the hospital for the past week. She went in for pneumonia. Then they found a blood clot in her leg, a possibly fatal one. Both problems could be dealt with. Then they tried to drain fluid from around her left lung. The fluid is apparently cancerous. We don't have a lot of details about it yet, but it has been identified that there is cancer on her spine. My father and brothers are really upset. Especially my little brother. He's only ten. My dad's taking off work tomorrow to be with my mom. Things are really bad right now. Interestingly enough though, I've only shed one tear since I was told about this about an hour or so ago. I can't say the same for everyone else. I'm going to see my mother tomorrow afternoon, so don't expect a story update. I know this is a weird request for someone to make over the computer, but could you pray for my family? I think we need it.

Blood

Slade slowly gets to his feet as dozens of minions surround the Realm Travelers and Titans. TrailBlaiser just smiles. "You're bluffing." she sneers. "You really think you can take us down with these guys?" She transforms into a scarlet dragon. The rest of the Realm Travelers transform into their animals. The A-I-Ts look up at TrailBlaiser.
"You know we can't do that yet, right?" Wes whispers. TrailBlaiser lets out an exasperated sigh.
"You can use some magic, can't you?"she groans.
"Well, yeah, but-"
"'Don't question my authority!'" TrailBlaiser cuts him off.
"I wasn't. I was just asking what-"
"'I reject your reality and substitute my own!'" Terrance gives her an incredulous look.
"If you're done throwing out 'Mythbuster' quotes, can we just beat them now?" RiverFlyte asks. TrailBlaise shrugs.
"Whatever." She flies over to a group of mininons. "On your mark, get set, prepare to get your butss kicked." She gives them a hard whack with her spiked tail, sending them flying to the wall. The rest of the Realm Travelers begin fighting. After a few minutes, all the mininons are defeated and fade into the shadows. TrailBlaiser looks around. "Oh squirrel muffins." she sighs. "Where's Slade?" SwiftWind, in cat form, jumps from beam to beam across the ceiling.
"Well, he isn't up here." she meows. Rabbitleap, in wolf form, sniffs the floor.
"I've got a scent!" she exclaims. She follows the trail to a courtyard just on the other side of the wall. "Oh, um, hm. You're probably not going to like this, but there's also the scent of rocket fuel." TrailBlaiser's head droops. "But on the bright side, he was injured in the fight." TrailBaiser perks up.
"How can you tell?" she asks. Rabbitleap transforms back into a human and points at a red blotch on the ground.
"Can't you tell by the metalic, salty scent in the air? Blood." she whips a vial out of her pocket and gathers some of the still-fresh liquid. "Aslo known as DNA." TrailBlaiser lets out a triumphant roar.

Back at the T-Tower, Rabbitleap puts the blood sample into the scanner and runs it against Robin's. They all wait with bated breath for it to process. When it finally dings, Rabbitlea reads the report, finally letting out a laugh. "Yep." she sighs. "Figures." She shows TrailBlaiser the report. "No genetic relation. So, fan fictions all over the world have now been proven... false."

SMASH!

Terra bravely stalks into the hideout, Beast Boy, as a mouse, in her pocket. She makes her way into the room where Slade is. "I'm going to ask you one last time, where does your power come from?" he demands. TrailBlaiser, tied to a chair, smiles crookedly at him. She has a busted lip, a bloody nose and a black eye.
"The place exactly opposite of where you're going." she taunts. Slade moves to strike her, but stops just inches from her face.
"You forget," he replies as he opens his fist, revealing a glowing rock of deep blue and violet that radiates evil, "I have the Night Crystal." She struggles to get away from it in vain. He breathes deeply, then sends energy into it. It shines brightly, then shoots out a beam of dark energy towards TrailBlaiser. She cries out in agony.
"Stop!" RiverFlyte shouts from behind bars encrusted in Night Crystal. He grips the bars, only to be thrown back by its energy.
"Leave her alone!" Sapphire begs. Slade turns his attention toward her.
"So, she wants a piece of this?" Slade raises th crytal towards her. Terra, not knowing what else to do, announces her presence.
"Master Slade!", she calls. His focus is broken for a moment. He whips around to face her.
"What are you doing here?" he demands. "I thought you were a Titan now. After you betrayed me and tossed me into lava." Terra suddenly looks ashamed.
"I have left the Titans. I renounce my loyalty to them. They mean nothing to me." she explains. TrailBlaiser britsles. A deep growl rises in her. Slade looks unconvinced.
"If you are as you say, extract information from TrailBlaiser." he gives her the crystal. "Use any means nessecary." Terra nods and steps up to TrailBlaiser. TrailBlaiser looks up at her, eyes pleading. Terra raises the crystal, as if to strike, but smashes it onto the ground. It shatters into a thousand shimmering pieces. TrailBlaiser, now regaining her strength after its destruction, breaks the ropes on the chair using her fire magic. She corners Slade.
"And to think, all we wanted was a freakin' DNA sample!" she screams. Beast Boy jumps out of Terra's pocket and transforms into a gorrila. He tears apart the bars and the Realm Travelers run out. They all glare at Slade, ecspecially RiverFlyte. They glow the colors of their magic and get ready to strike. The room is lit up with every colour of the rainbow. Terra gives the call and the Titans, including DragonFyre, bust down the doors. Slade looks at the furious faces and laughs.
"You honestly think I'll go down this easily?" he chuckles.
"Uh, yeah." TrailBlaiser sighs. "Why else would we stand here all menacing and powerful? I could be getting a facial right now. Aslan knows I need it." Slade bursts out laughing.
"Oh, such cute little children." He snaps his fingers twice. An army of minions appear from thin air. "I never go down without a fight."
