Sapphire's Dilemma

TrailBlaiser glances at the laptop the next day, after RiverFlyte went back to his own realm for some weird reason. The light flashed and showed a message. "The Tiger or the Lady Verse has been disrupted." A cold chill runs down her spine upon seeing this. A sigh of relief escapes her when she checks the status.
"Oh," she breathes, "It's just Lexi. You'd think the Mystique would teach her better than to set off our alarms." She takes out a pen and writes on her arm, speaking each word. "Send offer to train Lexi properly to the Mystique." Shaking her head, she clicks the pen back. "Those second-rate Travelers don't know what their doing. At least the boys' version has some idea of how to use magic. They haven't set off an alarm in ages. I wonder how their doing?" Sapphire skips up behind her and glances over TrailBlaiser's shoulder.
"What's the Mystique? Are they the other team of Travelers? The all girls one? Can I join?" TrailBlaiser spins her her chair to face the apprentice.
"No, you can't. This is the best place to get your training. RTHQ is the finest Traveler's headquarters in all the realms. You should be proud to be here." Sapphire crosses her arms.
"But we never do anything fun!" she whines.
"Fun? You want fun? Fine. Ask Sugar to show you the Airbender Realm. Call it a mission." Sapphire's eyes widen.
"You're actually sending me on a mission? Without an Elemental guide?" She can hardly keep the excitement from her voice. TrailBlaiser shrugs.
"You'e almost a full agent now. You shouldn't need an Elemental guide. But just in case, bring Kopa, too." Sapphire salutes her and skips away giddily.
"Omg, omg, OMG! With both Sugar and Kopa going, since they're BF and GF, they'll be so caught up in each other that they won't notice if I'm not there! It's gonna be so awesome!" She finds Sugar Plum talking with Kopa, runs toward them, leaps, and crashes into the wall. She lands awkwardly with her torso on the floor and her legs against the wall.
"Sapphire!" Sugar exclaims. "Are you alright?" Kopa helps her upright again.
"Doesn't matter Sugar. Cause you will never guess what TrailBlaiser just told me! I get to go on a mission!"
"By yourself?" he asks. Sapphire hits him playfully on the arm.
"No, with you two! Won't that be great?!" Kopa and Sugar exchange looks.
"Um, where?" Sugar tries to put a smile on her face, but fails.
"The Airbender Realm!" Sapphire replies, bouncing up and down in excitement. Sugar and Kopa exchange silent words.
"We need to discuss this with TrailBlaiser." Kopa decides. They walk off the the Elemental Commons and leave Sapphire standing there, quite confused.
It's almost like Sugar forgot that I'm her best friend. Sapphire thinks sadly. Is it because of Kopa? I thought we agreed that we'd never put guys before besties. And that we'd always be friends first, girlfriends second. so much for that, I guess.

Aw!

Hey guys! This is TrailBlaiser, just checking in! Now, first things first, our Story-Streamer has gotten an upgrade, so I'll just break it down for you, anything written in blue is my typing on the blog, purple is in realm, and green is in RTHQ. Just clearing that up for you. I'll upgrade it more as the need arises, but for now I think this should do. Okay, next thing, the "Prophecy". Still not quite sure about what all it means, but I'm working on it. And Sep's still bothering me about who my challenge relates to. He thinks I'm cheating on him or something, which is ridiculous considering it said "her". But anyway, he and I are kind of on a shaky relationship right now. He's mad at me for keeping secrets from him, but he needs to realize that I keep secrets for his own good. He hasn't kissed me or told me he loves me or anything like that since we got back from the realm two days ago, which really bothers me. Rabbitleap tells me not to worry, but I don't think this is a problem that will just go away on it's own. Off that topic now, we come to Swiftwind. She's still in the Avengers Realm and is working like crazy to figure out what's going on and how to put a stop to the disaster. She also explained to me that the wind element being disrupted in that realm caused her to blow up on me the other day and that she isn't normally like that. I think this whole thing has set all of us on edge, not just her. So, um, yeah, I think that's about it.

Finished with her post, TrailBlaiser shuts the laptop. Sapphire skips into the room, a smile growing on her face. Curiously, TrailBlaiser stops her. "And just what have you been up to? You and Sugar been snooping through my old diaries again?" Sapphire shakes her head.
"I haven't been up to anything, but RiverFlyte has." She beams. TrailBlaiser raises an eyebrow.
"Really? What exactly has he been doing?" Sapphire's face blushes bright red.
"I'm not telling. But you can see for yourself in the Elemental Commons. You know, where the four quarter's of you Elementals are connected." TrailBlaiser gets annoyed.
"I'm aware of my room's location, Sapphire. What's over there?" Sapphire skips away, not saying a word. With a sigh, TrailBlaiser gets up from her seat in the Main Hall and makes her way over to the Elemental Commons. Upon entering, she gasps at the roses scattered all over the room and the roaring fire in the hearth. She walks a bit further into the room, and triggers a trip wire, which sprinkles blue dust, RiverFlyte's magic, all over her. The dust touches the fabric of her clothes and transforms them into a flowing blue gown, trimmed with crystals. A tear of joy rushes down her cheek at seeing the dress, and she twirls a few times, giggling like a child at how it billows out around her. RiverFlyte enters, and similar blue dust falls on him, transforming his jeans and tee into a green tunic and cloak. Soft music plays from somewhere, filling the room with the Castle's melody.
"You look beautiful." he comments shyly. TrailBlaiser throws her arms around him. "I guess you liked the surprise then?" She kisses him fiercely.
"Oh Sep," she breathes, "it's just like-"
"Our first date?" he finishes. "I thought you'd recognize it." She backs up, and he holds out his hand. "Care to dance?" She curtseys and takes his hand and they get lost in the music. When the song ends, he kisses her passionately. "Happy Anniversary, Leo." She feels tears of joy running down her face, and RiverFlyte gently brushes them away.
"But I thought you were mad at me. That you hated me for keeping secrets from you." He shrugs.
"You have your life, and I have mine. I just have to accept that." He pulls her close to him. "Until, of course, when I marry you. Then, there will just be our life." He brushes a blonde curl out of her vision, and kisses her. "And I will marry you, Leo. I love you." She melts into his embrace.
"I love you, too." she whispers, before she can't speak anymore, because her lips are busy doing something she deems much more important.

TrailBlaiser to DragonFyre

The orbs stop shining and the Realm Travelers just look at each other. "Well, if we're all done here, can we go now?" TrailBlaiser asks.
"No you can't!" Swiftwind shouts. "The realm is still jankified! You have to help me!" rabbitleap thinks for a bit.
"I don't think we can." She decides. "the message said that the bonds can only be mended by each element in order. Since this is a Wind element problem, and you're the first to be challenged, then you have to solve it." They stay at her incredulously.
"You can't expect me to know what to do!" Swiftwind cries. "I have no idea what I'm doing!"
"Does that ever stop me?" TrailBlaiser scoffs. "I may be the leader, but by no means to I know all the answers. Neither does DragonFyre. Aslan does, though. Trust him." Swiftwind sighs.
"Alright. You sure you guys can't help?" she asks. RiverFlyte opens a portal back to RTHQ ans shuffles the TrailBlaiser and Rabbitleap through. Rabbitleap glances back at her best friend as she exits the realm. Sapphire rushes up to TrailBlaiser.
"Oh good! You're back! DragonFyre's been trying to contact you." She informs TrailBlaiser. TrailBlaiser raises an eyebrow.
"What for?" Sapphire skims over a sheet of paper she has.
"The reason given was, 'Sophomore year started and my history teacher is so totally lame. And I have gym this semester. And I have to ride the bus home. Requesting an artifact to access powers in the Alpha Realm. Yes, artifacts allow you to access powers in your home realm. Please give me the Golden Amulet!' What's the Golden Amulet?" Sapphire asks this last sentence curiously.
"Um, it's an artifact designed specifically for DragonFyre. She had it transferred to her via magic when she entered this realm, which is why she could use powers. It's basically just a regular artifact, it just looks cool. It's a lion's paw made of gold." She walks over to the laptop and types in something. "There's her answer. That's for kissing my boyfriend."

Hey DragonFyre. I can access you via this blog site, and I'm just here to tell you that, NO YOU CAN'T HAVE THE GOLDEN AMULET!!!! You'll just have to suffer like all the other mortals from your realm. Love and hugs, your sister, TrailBlaiser.
P.S. Yes, I do enjoy making you miserable. >:D

Rainbows = Telegrams (Apparently)

"Hey, Rabbitleap, take her artifact." RiverFlyte suggests.
"What?!" all three girls say in unison.
"It might calm them down." Rabbitleap nods and snaps the leather cord holding Swiftwind's artifact around her neck. Swiftwind immediatly relaxes, and Rabbitleap lets her up. RiverFlyte reaches for TrailBlaiser's orb, but she struggles fiercely. "TrailBlaiser! Stop fighting me!" he scolds.
"No! It's mine! You can't touch it!" she growls. Her eyes glow with a strange red light unusual for her, despite her powers. "Get away!" She tosses herself and throws her weight around, but RiverFlyte pins her firmly to the ground. Again, he reaches for the amulet, only to have TrailBlaiser sink her fangs into his hand. He bites back a shout of pain, tries again. This time, he gets completly on top of her, pinning her head to the earth and ripping the orb off. He waits for a moment as TrailBlaiser, now without her powers, resumes her human form, as Swiftwind did. RiverFlyte blasts a blue light on his hand, healing himself. She falls to her knees and weeps. "I- I'm sorry Sep. I don't know what happened..." she trails off as RiverFlyte glares at her.
"Leo." he demands. She looks up sadly at him. "We're over." The girls' jaws gape.
"We're what?" she whispers, uncomprehendingly. RiverFlyte turns his gaze, not meeting her eyes. "You're my second-in-command! My equal element! My boyfriend! My love! You loved my sister to love me while I was in Aslan's Country! You challenged Aslan to get me back! You convinced Marcia to let me stay in the Wizard Tower! You can't just... stop... loving... me." Her voice is broken by sobs in her last sentence.
"I still love you." he sighs. "But I can't be with you. Not when you're like this." Suddenly, he drops the orb, which left a burn on his hand. The orb rolls by itself to TrailBlaiser, and stops. "What are you doing?!" he demands.
"Nothing, I swear! I have no magic without my artifact!" TrailBlaiser gingerly picks up the orb, which releases a low noise, like a purr. "I don't understand..." She shakes her head and tosses the artifact away, shouting, "You, evil little thing, you caused this!" The orb lands twenty feet away, and again rolls back to her. She screams in fear. The orb glows, as if impatient. "Septimus, please, take me back to RTHQ! This thing is freaking me out!" RiverFlyte nods, but as he does, a bright light erupts from all four artifacts, coming together into a rainbow above them. The Realm Travelers stare up at the rainbow, entranced. Eventually, the rainbow dissolves above them, and they look at each other, bewildered.
"It was a message." Rabbitleap whispers. "It said, 'The balance has been disrupted. Something has occurred to break to realms apart.'"
"No," Swiftwind objects, "it said, 'Elements together won't fix the realm. Air, then Water, then Earth, then Fire. In that order will the universe finally rest peacefully.'" She turns to RiverFlyte. "What does that mean?"
"I'm not sure." he replies, "But it told me, 'A challenge will come soon, so don't abandon her. The anger was from a warning she could not interpret. Love Fire, for you'll need her when your challenge comes.' So basically, it's telling me only to not break up with you." He says this last sentence to TrailBlaiser.
"So, we're not broken up?" she asks.
"According to the universe, no." he sighs. A smile brightens her face. "What did your message say?" The smile fades.
"Oh, um, er, nothing important." The three of them glare at her. "It said, 'Your challenge will be last, and the greatest of them all. In each challenge, the others will learn what it means to be a hero, but this you already know. Therefore, a call will be made for one to be taken. But not you. The one whom you care for the most. The one who taught you, as much as you taught her.' Like I said, just gibberish, I'm sure it means nothing." RiverFlyte paces back and forth.
"Wait, 'the one you care for the most'? Wouldn't that be me? But no, it said 'her'. Who is it talking about?" He asks. TrailBlaiser twirls her hair nervously around her finger.
"Um, no one. I'll tell you, eventually. I just hope I can tell you before I have to."

Cat Fight

Swiftwind pulls out her sparkly communicator. "Hey TrailBlaiser, we got a problem over on my side." she relays into the mic.
"That isn't your rehearsed line, Swiftwind." sighs TrailBlaiser from the speaker. A growl forms deep inside Swiftwind.
"I don't care about your stupid rules! I said I have a problem and you need to fix it! NOW!" she hisses. Rogers, who had his hand on Swiftwind's shoulder, gets scared and backs up.
"Don't you speak to me that way! I'm still in charge here and you know it!" TrailBlaiser yells.
"Oh, yeah?! What are you gonna do about it, Princess? You gonna send your weak boyfriend to avenge your injured pride?" Swiftwind hisses. The male Avengers just cower in fear.
"Is it normal for women of this realm to act in this manor?" Thor asks quietly.
"No. Not in my time, anyway." Captain America replies.
"It's more common in this century, but still pretty rare for this to be sparked over nothing." Stark adds.
"Unless you're Natahsa." Hawkeye offers. Black Widow glares, silencing him.
"That's it! I'm coming over there RIGHT NOW! Let's see how you conform to my rules when your demoted back to Level One Agent Training!" TrailBlaiser shrieks. A shimmering portal opens in front of Swiftwind, and a furious TrailBlaiser leaps out. "You are so dead!" She leaps onto Swiftwind, knocking her down.
"Not as dead as you!" Swiftwind spits as she counters by flipping onto her back and spinning around.
"Troutwhisker sure dodged a bullet breaking up with you!" TrailBlaiser growls. Swiftwind transforms into a huge tiger.
"You leave my ex-boyfriend out of this!" she roars. TrailBlaiser counters by going full dragon.
"Make me, rat-chaser!" TrailBlaiser smacks Swiftwind's jaw, sending her crashing into the wall. Swiftwind stands back up, growling and shaking the rubble from her fur. Swiftwind clamps down hard onto TrailBlaiser's leg, leaving shimmering blood on the tile floor. TrailBlaiser roars in fury. Busting through the wall, TrailBlaiser shoots flame at Swiftwind, who quickly dodges and leaps out of the hole in the wall. Another portal opens as TrailBlaiser and Swiftwind go for each other's throats. RiverFlyte steps out, with Rabbitleap at his side.
"What's going on here?!" he demands. The girls don't respond and continue fighting. He turns to Rabbitleap. "You know what we have to do now." Rabbitleap nods and turns into a wolf, while RiverFlyte becomes an ice dragon. Rabbitleap leaps first into the fray, only to get smacked down by Swiftwind. RiverFlyte tries to split them up, but gets burned by TrailBlaiser. She seems to notice the arrival of the other Realm Travelers and glares at Swifftwind.
"You hurt my officer!" she yells.
"Me?! You're the one who fried your boyfriend!" She sneers at RiverFlyte, who is cradling his injured wing. "Told you we was weak." With a furious scream, TrailBlaiser lunges at Swiftwind, beating her into the ground.
"Enough!" RiverFlyte roars just as TrailBlaiser positions to deliver the death blow. "No more fighting! I don't know what's gotten into you, but this stops now. You're acting like a child, TrailBlaiser." She whips around to face him.
"You wanna say that again, Sweetie?" she growls, anger thickening her voice. RiverFlyte smacks TrailBlaiser down.
"Sorry, Babe. Maybe you should have thought twice before threatening me." TrailBlaiser moves to attack, but he pins her down. Rabbitleap does the same to Swiftwind.
"What's gotten into them?" she asks RiverFlyte. He shakes his head.
"I don't know, but this needs to be fixed immediately."

Cosmic Duck Tape

"Due to the recent freak storms appearing all over the globe, many of high-risk areas have been evacuated to remove the threat of greater damage." The newscaster relays this information while pictures of floods and hurricanes flash on-screen. Swiftwind turns to Thor behind her.
"It wasn't my doing!" he defends. Swiftwind sighs and watches the gray clouds out the window. Rogers holds her around the waist.
"What are you thinking?" he asks. She leans into him.
"I'm thinking more is going on here than a few storms. My element is the wind and sky, and I'm a cat. My abilities and my sixth sense both agree that something is seriously wrong here." She slides out of his grasp and opens the window. A slight breeze flows into the room. Only Swiftwind seems alarmed.
"What's wrong?" Rogers asks her. She says nothing while climbing out of the window. As her feet hit the ground, she looks up at the sky. The clouds swirl and twist angrily overhead.
"Bad." she whispers. She transforms into a cat and tastes the air, just to be sure of her suspicions. Now satisfied with her results, she morphs back into a human. "Can't you sense it?" she calls to the others. Rogers shakes his head. "This storm is not of this world. It isn't from anything I've ever encountered." She leaps back through the window where Captain America is waiting for her. "It's, ugh, I don't know. Magical, somehow." Rogers tries to comprehend.
"Good magic, or bad magic?" he asks. She holds her head in her hands.
"I don't know. Neither. It radiates power. It's like it's alive, yet it gives off an aura of death." The other Avengers become tense.
"Is it dangerous?" Romanoff  asks. Swiftwind shrugs.
"It appears to only be causing severe weather, so not too bad, yet." Stark jumps to his feet.
"Wait, people are being evacuated, homes are being torn apart, entire cities are being beaten away, and you call that 'not too bad'?" he balks. Swiftwind walks over toward Thor.
"What happens if your portal thing is open too long on any one location?" she asks him.
"The world is ripped apart." he states. Swiftwind nods and paces, trying to think of how best to explain.
"Okay, potentially, a large realm disruption could cause many things to happen, but they all have the same end result if the problem isn't solved. One: realms could merge, resulting in the displacement of energy and objects. Two: cracks in the realm could form, causing rather large black-holes to destroy everything. Three: the biosphere of a realm could try to compensate for the disruption, thereby shifting to make room for the onslaught of energy. However, all these options end in the total destruction of all realms." Everyone stares at her blankly.
"So," Hawkeye begins, "what can we do?" Swiftwind thinks for a moment.
"Well, we'd need to contact the master deity of this realm. However, considering this realm is almost identical to the Alpha Realm, we'd need to contact the overseer of all realms directly: Aslan. Because he knows how each realm functions, he'd fix it, somehow." she explains. Stark laughs humorlessly.
"With what, cosmic duck tape?" he jokes.
"If only there was such a thing." she sighs.
